The influence of Romans and Arabs has left its mark in Alicante, and this legacy endures in our valley despite the phylloxera outbreak in the 19th century.
Casa Agrícola has a winery built in 1900 on an old Riu-Rau of Arab origin.
Our 12 hectares of Giró and Moscatel Romano vineyards were planted between 1920 and 1970, cultivated organically, rainfed, and on terraced slopes with centuries-old dry stone walls, a legacy of ancient cultures alive in our project.

Winery Visits with Wine Tasting and Pairing with Cured Meats
Guided tours at Bodegas Xaló offer the opportunity to explore all the facilities and discover the wine-making process of our wines, mistelas, and vermouths. You will enjoy a wine-tasting session where you will learn about the characteristics of 4 of our wines and a mistela or vermouth. Additionally, while tasting the wines, you will also enjoy exquisite cured meats, cheeses, almonds, and crunchy doughnuts.

Visitors have access to public parking right in front of the winery for added convenience. Our facilities are located in Xaló, at the exit of the town heading towards Alcalalí. We are 6 km from the AP7 and the National 332 road at its passage through Benissa, and less than 30 minutes from the main tourist centers of the region: Denia, Xàbia, Calpe.
